Research EEN FABRIEK
EEN FABRIEK, co-founded by Dani Ploeger en Eva Langerak, is a new platform for artistic and culturally critical research into contemporary industrialization. In the 2023-24 season, EEN FABRIEK will organize three weekend-long events in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, one of the most industrialized regions in the Benelux.
The program combines contemporary art and cultural criticism. Each weekend will illuminate a different perspective on industry through an existing artwork, a new commissioned work, and a critical reflection. This season, three partially overlapping themes are central: industrial processes, extraction, and landscape; machines, labor, and bodies; regional industry in a globalized world.
